The Ugly Bugs' Dance

They came from the valleys
They came from the hills
The bugs they came for the lights and the thrills

From every which corner
From down low and great height
The ugly bugs came to dance through the night

Their antenna were sparkling
With diamonds of dew
Their suits and their dresses were always brand new

From across many miles
From every which way
The ugly bugs came to dance until day

The music played loudly
It rang through the air
The bugs danced on without troubles or care

In all of their finery
In the silver moonlight
The ugly bugs came to dance through the night

They waltzed and they jived
The eight legged and six
They fluttered their wings and performed spinning tricks

With laughter and singing
With shouts of  hooray
The ugly bugs came to dance until day

But as Mr Sun rose
And wiped the sleep from his eyes
It was time for the bugs to resume their disguise

Now back to the places
In the far and the wide
Back to the places where the ugly bugs hide
